New homes bring concerns to AISD

Talk of expansion, attendance and its effects on district
New homes bring concerns to AISD
Education Consultant Hudson Huff presents an attendance zone review to Azle ISD trustees Monday, Oct. 21.

Just as the crowds dispersed following the annual homecoming parade, Azle Independent School District trustees made their way to the administration building for their monthly meeting Monday, Oct. 21.

Because it’s National Principal’s Month, the evening began with a statement of recognition read by Azle ISD Director of Communications Amanda Moore.

“Azle ISD proudly recognizes October as National Principals month. Celebrated every October, National Principals month provides a dedicated time to honor the tremendous devotion, leadership and impact of our school principals across the district. Our principals are the visionaries and driving force behind the success of our students. They work tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to foster a positive and safe learning environment, support and empower our teachers and staff, collaborate with parents and the community, and champion academic excellence and student well-being. Our school leaders are instrumental in shaping the future of our students, and the commitment our principals show to make a difference to “Every child, every chance, every day” is truly inspiring. Thank you to all our amazing AISD principals.”
