While the kids were away, the adults came out to play Oct. 30, for this year’s Azle Wine Crawl — complete with costumes, candy and the finest cabernet. As soon as the sun set Thursday night, Main Street came alive with laughter, music and Halloween spirit, as adults embraced their inner child and unleashed their party side.
Residents of all ages donned their most creative costumes — with ideas ranging from Jake from State Farm to Jesus, himself — and took a stroll down the street to visit 17 participating businesses.
Since the event was strictly limited to adults ages 21 years and older, parents and grandparents were able to enjoy an evening out in the community, giving them a chance to sip on delicious wine while also trick-or-treating — the fun “adult” way.
