Azle City Council recognized the staff and volunteers of two vital city services — Azle Animal Shelter and Azle Municipal Court — for their continued dedication and service to the community during a regular meeting Nov. 4.

NATIONAL ANIMAL SHELTER APPRECIATION WEEK

In a proclamation read by Mayor Randa Goode, the council members recognized the hard work of shelter staff and volunteers by declaring the first full week of November — Nov. 2-8, as National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week.
