First Methodist Church invites the community to its annual Azle Thanksgiving Dinner Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to everyone, with no restrictions on who may attend.
Since Thanksgiving Day 2016, the church has served free community Thanksgiving meals, serving more than 500 meals each year. The church believes everyone in the area should have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious holiday meal in the fellowship of others.
Meals are also delivered to community members who can’t make it to the church, including elderly shut-ins living within about a 10-mile radius from the church.
