Individuals, business teams, families and even their pets came from across the metroplex Saturday, Nov. 8 to run in the 44th annual Azle Lake Run, a charity race that benefits local organizations. The race, which began and ended in Ash Creek Park, is presented by the Azle Area Ministerial Alliance.

All proceeds from the event benefit the AAMA and will help the organization continue supporting other local organizations including the Community Caring Center, the Eagle Mountain Pregnancy Help Center and Good N.E.W.S.

With events ranging from a 10K to a one-mile Color Run, the Azle Lake Run offered something for everyone. The variety of races drew a diverse crowd of participants from across the community, with more than 350 participants taking part this year.
