If it’s November, it’s basketball season. The Azle Lady Hornets opened their 2025 campaign at home Friday, Nov. 7, but fell 47–34 to the Krum Lady Bobcats.
Krum edged ahead early and carried a 22–16 lead into halftime. Sophomore guard Angel Sifuentes led all scorers with 16 points, highlighting a promising start to head coach Kassie Urban’s second season at the helm. Azle returns to action Tuesday, Nov. 11, when the Lady Hornets host Weatherford. They will then travel to Abilene Cooper Friday, Nov. 14.
