Azle High School’s Cheer Team and Hornet Muscle earned a trip to the national stage after a strong showing at the Universal Cheerleaders Association Regionals Saturday, Nov. 8, in Sherman. Competing in the Large Varsity Coed Game Day Division, the Hornets placed second — less than a point behind first place—and secured qualification for Nationals in February at Disney World.
Head coach Taylor Hodges said the judges provided “meaningful feedback on our routine” that the team will apply as it prepares for upcoming events.
Azle Cheer and Hornet Muscle next compete Dec. 7 at Flower Mound High School.
