Storytelling is Skinner’s passion

This is the encapsulated story of a young woman named Jolee Skinner, born July 9, 2002 in Layton, Utah. She is the daughter of Joe and Jennifer, sister of Jaxon and proud mommy to a micro golden doodle named Lily. Skinner was ready to conquer the world of real estate … or so she thought.

Following the age-old rule of “mommy knows best,” she was redirected into broadcast journalism, under the advice of her mother who understood her daughter's passion.

“I’m the type of person where I can’t do the same thing every day for the rest of my life …she knew this girl can only do something for work unless she’s passionate about it, so I think she knew I would be passionate about journalism and she pushed me toward it,” Skinner said.
