Azle High’s School Career and Technical Education students may not be in the “real world” yet, but they already have the skills needed to be successful — and it’s all thanks to the CTE program.

The Career and Technical Education program — or CTE for short — offers AHS students certifications, instruction from industry-experienced educators, valuable knowledge and hands-on training in real-world practices and standards.

During the AHS CTE Community and Career Connection Breakfast Nov. 12, Superintendent Todd Smith explained that the district’s mission and vision is to make a difference to every child, every chance, every day — and that includes the goal of making every child “future ready.”
