A man was arrested Nov. 15 by DPS troopers on three warrants related to an auto accident on Boat Club Road that killed Brytni Elliot, and severely injured her husband, former Azle High School coach Spencer Elliot, and one of the couple’s children in September.

Eduardo Partida, age 20, remains in the Parker County jail awaiting arraignment in Criminal District Court 4 in Tarrant County, where bond will be set.

Authorities said the collision occurred in the 5800 block of Boat Club Road when a Dodge Ram traveling the wrong direction struck the vehicle carrying Elliot, his wife, and the couple’s 12-year-old daughter. Brytni Elliot was pronounced dead at the scene. Spencer Elliot and his daughter were initially hospitalized in critical condition.
