The Azle Lady Hornet hoopers hosted Weatherford Tuesday, Nov. 11, and battled through an evenly matched first half before the Kangaroos pulled away for a 61–35 victory.
Azle trailed just 25–23 at halftime, showing steady defensive effort and strong perimeter play. But Weatherford found its rhythm in the final two quarters, outscoring the Lady Hornets down the stretch.
Senior returner Keagan Stuart led Azle with 13 points. Angel Sifuentes added 8 points, while Illiana Lopez contributed 6 and Kaylee Robinson finished with 5.
