Azle FFA turned in a strong showing at the District VI Leadership Development event Friday, Nov. 7, earning multiple awards and advancing to the upcoming Area V contest in Anna Nov. 21.
The Hornets brought home a district championship in Senior Chapter Conducting. Team members Drake Chavez, Caine Stepich, Reese Schluter, Talon Slough, Brylee Kittrell, Roxton Reed and Madeline Lemley secured the top spot and will move on to area competition.
Azle also claimed the district title in Greenhand Skills, with Michael Voelkel, William Fox and Cason Widemon earning first place and advancing.
