The Azle High School bass fishing team turned in another strong performance as anglers Parker King and Beckam Burt secured third place at the THSBA tournament on Richland Chambers Reservoir Saturday, Nov. 8.
Competing against a field of 145 boats, King and Burt weighed in five fish for a total of 14.67 pounds. Their finish earned each of them a $500 scholarship along with an additional $150 in prizes.
Landon Burt served as the boat captain for the event.
