The Azle High School wrestling program put on a strong showing Wednesday, Nov. 19, as the Hornets hosted a tri-dual meet in the AHS gym and powered past Chisholm Trail and Paschal on both the boys’ and girls’ mats.

The Lady Hornets opened the night with a 42-35 win over Chisholm Trail before rolling to a 60-13 victory against Paschal. The Azle boys followed with an equally impressive performance, edging Chisholm Trail 52-21 and cruising past Paschal 78-6.

Both teams showcased depth, experience and early-season momentum as they controlled matches throughout the evening.
