Ninety local children will soon receive what may be the best Christmas gift ever — the chance to sleep comfortably in their own beds instead of on the floor or a couch.

Through Operation Bed Build, Servolution Network staff and community volunteers spent the entire day Nov. 21 working to build 45 bunk beds for local children.

Servolution’s Executive Director Jason Malewiski said he believes no child should sleep on the floor and strived to give other children the safe, comfortable sleeping environment he didn’t always have himself.
