Azle ISD hosted its second annual Holiday Open House Dec. 12 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the district’s administration building. The come-and-go event featured performances by the Azle High School wind ensemble and jazz bands, while culinary arts students prepared food and served refreshments, and the advanced floral design students’ centerpieces were displayed. The Career and Technical Education and Fine Arts departments coordinated the performances, menu and decorations.
The event gave community members an opportunity to step inside the district, explore student programs, and connect with district staff.
“The come-and-go event offers community members the opportunity to take a break from the busyness this time of year, even if only for a few minutes, to relax, visit, see our Hornets in action, and enjoy some holiday performances,” Director of Communications Amanda Moore said.
