The Azle cheer program, joined by the Hornet Muscle spirit crew, delivered a standout showing at the annual Hearts for the Holiday Classic Sunday, Dec. 7 at Marcus High School.
The event attracts school and recreational cheer programs from across the region, with squads competing in divisions based on age, team size and performance style.
Azle’s JV squad captured first place in the Large JV Game Day division, securing the program’s highest finish of the day. The varsity team also turned in a strong performance, earning second place in the Large Coed Varsity Game Day division.
