Changes on the horizon for Reno

A new year brings the prospect of hopeful change, fresh ideas and the right people to help set those ideals into motion.

On Monday, Dec. 15, Reno city officials met to discuss the implementation of a new software program, the welcoming of a new city employee and an agreement to spruce up the city vehicle fleet.

Prior to the start of official business, Mayor Bas administered the oath of office to new City Secretary Rachael Summerville, who replaces longtime city employee Rebekka Roberts, during a swearing in ceremony.
