Through car shows and other events throughout each year, members of the Silver Dollar Classics Car Club have fun, enjoy one another’s company … and raise money for a good cause.

In 2025, the club raised funds to donate to the pediatric oncology program at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth — to the tune of $10,000.

Gathered together at Moe’s Country Kitchen on Azle’s Main Street for its annual Christmas party, club members laughed, cut up, ate good food prepared by Moe’s plus many scrumptious desserts brought by club members. But before it all kicked off, a presentation was made to Erin McDonald, CMN hospitals manager for Cook Children’s Medical Center. The car club presented McDonald with a check in the amount of $10,000 to go to the pediatric oncology department at Cooks.
