The city of Azle has joined the statewide affiliate program of Keep Texas Beautiful — joining hundreds of other communities across the state striving to make Texas the best place to live, work and play.
Founded in 1967, Keep Texas Beautiful is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering Texans to make their communities clean and beautiful. KTB provides resources to its affiliate members to host community involvement projects, clean-ups and youth engagement efforts as part of its statewide initiative.
According to a news release provided by the city of Azle, the community’s access to lake recreation, local parks, trails and nearby natural areas make Azle uniquely positioned to connect environmental stewardship with community pride and outdoor engagement.
