$1.2B in monthly sales tax revenue sent to local governments

Across Texas, cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts received $1.2 billion in local sales tax allocations for December, 7.5% more than in December 2024.

These allocations are based on sales made in October by businesses that report tax monthly.
