Crash takes life of teen

A one-vehicle crash in the 3900 block of East State Highway 199, east of Jay Bird Cutoff, resulted in a fatality. The accident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9. Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers, Reno police officers and Parker County Emergency Services District No. 1 responded to the scene where one person was pronounced deceased. Few details are currently available, but it appeared the vehicle left the roadway and landed in a creek bed.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the deceased as 19-year-old Trevor Allan O’Quinn.
