Azle girls host powerlifting meet Jan. 14

The Azle varsity girls powerlifting team will compete in its first powerlifting meet of the season at home Jan. 14. The meet begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Hornet indoor facility.

Boys soccer plays at Northside Jan. 15

Azle boys soccer plays Northside High School at Farrington Field at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15.

Girls soccer plays at Bridgeport Jan. 15

Azle girls soccer will play Bridgeport Thursday, Jan. 15 at Saginaw High School. Game time is 4:30 p.m.

AHS basketball hosts Aledo Jan. 16

Azle boys and girls basketball are set to host district rival Aledo in the Hornet gym Friday, Jan. 16. Girls tip off at 6:15 p.m. and the boys at 7:30 p.m.

Azle boys soccer will play Benbrook at Benbrook Middle School Friday, Jan. 16 at 2:40 p.m.

Girls soccer plays Saginaw tourney Jan. 16

Azle girls soccer plays Arlington Lamar in its first game of the Saginaw High School Tournament Jan. 16. Game time is 4:30 p.m.

THSWCA State Dual Championships Jan. 17

The Azle boys and girls wrestling programs travel to Kay Yeager Coliseum in Wichita Falls Saturday, Jan. 17 to compete in the State Dual Championships. First match is scheduled for 7 a.m.

Boys soccer at Dallas Samuel Jan. 17

Azle soccer will take on Dallas Samuel at Farrington Field. Game time is 9 a.m.

Basketball at Chisholm Trail Jan. 20

Azle boys and girls basketball continue district play Tuesday, Jan. 20 when they travel to Chisholm Trail. Game time for the Lady Hornets is 6:15 p.m. and the Hornets tip off at 7:30 p.m.

Azle boys powerlifting Jan. 22

The Azle boys powerlifting team will participate in the Boswell High School Powerlifting Meet Thursday Jan. 22. Game time to be announced.

Azle basketball hosts Fossil Ridge Jan. 23

On Friday, Jan. 23 Azle girls and boys basketball will continue their district race at home against Fossil Ridge. Game time for the Lady Hornets is set for 6:15 p.m., followed by the boys at 7:30 p.m.
