The Azle Police Department, in coordination with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, Texas Rangers, United States Marshalls and Parker County Special Crimes Unit, located and arrested Kruz Dean Wanser Jan. 15. Azle PD issued a public information request seeking information about Wanser’s location earlier in the week and referred to him as a “wanted fugitive.”
Wanser was sought in connection to the suspicious death of 37-year-old Margaret Pennington.
Pennigton was located deceased inside an Azle residence Sunday, Jan. 11. Her cause of death is still listed as pending as of Jan. 15.
