The Azle High School powerlifting program continued its dominance on home turf last week when both the girls and boys teams captured team championships at their respective invitational meets inside the Azle Hornet Indoor Facility.
The Lady Hornet Invitational was held Wednesday, Jan. 14, followed by the Hornet Invitational for the boys Thursday, Jan. 15.
“For the seventh year in a row, both the boys and girls teams have won our home meet,” head girls coach Logan Scott said.
