Azle High School students Mason Schluter and Lila Harden were recently in the spotlight when they were named the Azle Optimist Club’s Young Texan and Texanne for December during the club’s monthly breakfast Jan. 16.

Mason Schluter, the son of Karl and Farrah Schluter, plans to attend Texas A&M University of North Dakota following graduation, where he will pursue a career to become either a military or commercial pilot.
