Church soup kitchen open Thursdays
Azle Christian Church welcomes everyone to its community soup kitchen every Thursday. The church is located at 117 Church St. in Azle.
Church members will serve soup from 5-7 p.m., or until the soup runs out. Come enjoy a free hot meal simply because you are loved.

The Azle Senior Activity Center welcomes everyone to join in for its Heart Wellness Talk Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 11:30 a.m.
Wear red to support heart health and enjoy an informative and engaging talk on heart wellness with Kimbery Hilmer, nurse practitioner, of Christian Care House Calls LLC.

Come visit FCCLA’s Fashion Show Feb. 7
Azleites will need to unleash their passion for fashion for an upcoming fashion show Saturday, Feb. 7.
Hosted by Azle High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, the event will be held from 2-4 p.m. at the AHS auditorium, 1200 Boyd Road.
With tickets set at $5 each, all proceeds will benefit the Future, Hope and Healing Center, a nonprofit organization that helps victims of domestic violence in the Azle area.
Candidate speaking event due Feb. 10
Silver Creek Methodist Church will host its rescheduled candidate speaking event Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 6-7:30 p.m.
A donation-only spaghetti dinner will take place promptly at 6 p.m., followed by the candidates’ speeches from 7-7:30 p.m.
Each candidate will have three minutes to speak and will be grouped by the office they are running for. A short break will take place between each office group.

Western Ladies Music Bingo set Feb. 17
The Azle Lions Club presents its Country and Western Ladies Music Bingo Tuesday, Feb. 17 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the One Azle Building located at 412 Commerce St. in Azle.
Enjoy an evening of music bingo, snacks, beverages and prizes for $40. Every ticket sold will benefit back-to-school supplies, which allows the club to donate more than 200 backpacks annually to Azle ISD students who may not have access to school supplies.
All walk-ins are welcome to come and support the school district while enjoying a night of fun. Anyone who brings a box of 12-count colored pencils will receive an additional raffle ticket for each box.

Chamber awards banquet set Feb. 19
The Azle Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 64th annual awards banquet from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19.
Held at Wild Wonder, located at 3605 E. Highway 199 in Springtown, this annual event celebrates the best of the best in Azle’s business community.
Chamber member individual tickets are $50 each and nonmember individual tickets are $60 each. Guests can also purchase a chamber member sponsor table of eight for $375 or a nonmember sponsor table of eight for $450.
Attendees are asked to reserve their seat or table by purchasing no later than Feb. 5, 2026. Seating is limited and tickets will not be sold at the door.
Women of Grace Bingo Night Feb. 21
Members of River of Grace Fellowship welcome you to a girls’ night out for its Women of Grace Bingo Night Fundraiser Saturday, Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. The event will be at 2014 Greg St., Suite 110, in Azle.
Bring your friends and get ready for a joyful night of fellowship, prizes and friendly competition. This special event is a fundraiser to support the Women of Grace Azle Ministry to assist in keeping all its sisters-in-Christ events free throughout the year.
There will be 10 rounds of bingo, great prizes, laughter and fellowship, complimentary light refreshments, a mini bake sale and a warm atmosphere for all women.

Enjoy Ties and Tiaras Dance Feb. 21
Everyone is welcome to dance, celebrate and create memories at the Ties and Tiaras Family Dance at Azle High School. The dance is hosted by the Azle Marching Green Pride Band Boosters Saturday, Feb. 21 from 6-8 p.m.
The dance will feature a DJ, food, dancing, photo booths, treasure shop and a visit from Sally’s Sweets. Admission for $20 per couple comes with pizza and one drink per person.

Health, safety seminar arrives Feb. 21
Silver Creek Methodist Church will host a free health seminar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21. The church is located at 2200 Church Road, south of Azle.
During the health seminar, topics will include cardiovascular health, fall prevention, first aid, hands-only CPR, Stop the Bleed and advanced care planning.

Forever Young Senior Prom set Feb. 26
A prom night decades in the making will arrive in Azle Thursday, Feb. 26, bringing seniors from across Parker and Tarrant counties together under one roof.
The event, called Forever Young Senior Prom, will allow seniors across the area to relive their most magical high school experience at Legacy Oaks of Azle, 1364 Southeast Parkway in Azle, from 2-4 p.m.
Legacy Oaks will coordinate with local nonprofits and thrift stores to gather formalwear for seniors. A grazing table will be prepared for all attendees, with Palio’s Pizza donating salads and breadsticks. Additional partners continue to donate snacks for the event.
For transportation, Family Tree and Select Rehab sponsored a 57-passenger charter bus to transport seniors to and from the event at no cost, removing a transportation barrier that previously limited attendance. In addition, the Azle Senior Center will host pre-prom festivities and donate dresses for prom-goers free of charge.

Annual NatureCon arrives March 28
The Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge invites you to come enjoy a day full of exploration, learning and fun at its annual NatureCon festival Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will feature hayrides, arts and crafts, music, food trucks, paddling and much more. A discovery trail will be set up throughout, making way for little explorers. Guest speakers will also be on site to talk about native plants and answer questions from young, curious minds.
Admission is $6 for adults, $2 for kids, $3 for seniors, $1 for dogs. Active duty and veterans receive $1 off each person in their vehicle.
