The Community Caring Center may look a lot different than its inception in 1990, but the heart and soul that still lives inside those four walls is part of what keeps its mission alive — even 36 years later.
For the past three decades, the CCC has provided food, clothing and small household goods to families in the Azle area — and the need just keeps getting greater.
Kristie Cooper, executive director of the CCC, spoke at the Azle Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon Feb. 3 about the recent extraordinary growth of the organization and the exciting renovations that are currently underway at the food pantry.
