Bethany Shinn, a member with Tarrant County 4-H from Azle, earned a $500 Calf Scramble purchase certificate during the 2026 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.
Shinn was recognized during one of the Stock Show’s rodeo performances after successfully completing the Calf Scramble, a longtime FWSSR tradition that rewards youth involved in agricultural education. Her certificate was sponsored by Rockin 3B Ranch.
During each of the Stock Show’s 23 rodeo performances, 20 students compete to catch one of 10 calves released into the arena. Those who are successful earn a $500 heifer purchase certificate to help them begin or expand a livestock project.
