The Azle Lady Hornets varsity soccer team continued its strong district run with a pair of competitive matches last week.
Azle played Granbury to a 1-1 draw Friday, Feb. 6 in a hard-fought district contest against the Lady Pirates. The match was decided in a shootout, where Granbury edged the Lady Hornets 3-1.
The Lady Hornets responded with a solid performance Friday, Feb. 13, shutting out the Brewer Bears 2-0 to improve to 3-1-1 in district play.
