Patients with Texas Health Family Care and Texas Health Internal Medicine will soon see the effects of two brand-new changes — both in ownership and name — starting Sunday, March 1.

According to a letter from Texas Health Physicians Group, effective next month, Texas Health Family Care at 141 N. Industrial Ave. and Texas Health Internal Medicine at 909 Southeast Parkway, Suite 105 will no longer be owned and operated by THPG. Instead, these practices will transition to Palm Primary Care — a Fort Worth-based physician-led medical group with nine locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A letter from Palm Primary Care explained that these changes “allow doctors and staff to spend more time focused on patient care while keeping administrative services local.”

In a statement to The Azle News, Texas Health Resources explained that both locations will remain open during this time and clarified this change will not affect the local hospital.
