Local governments receive $1.5B in monthly sales tax revenue

Cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts are set to receive $1.5 billion in local sales tax allocations for February, 2.5% more than in February 2025.

The allocations are based on sales made in December by businesses that report tax monthly; October, November and December sales by quarterly filers; and 2025 sales by businesses that report tax annually.
