Azle ISD Transportation will kick off its Bus Road-eo competition season at the Region 11 North Texas Association for Pupil Transportation Saturday, March 28 at Summit High School in Arlington.

Last year, two bus drivers competed in the Region 11 Bus Road-eo competition in Weatherford. One of the bus drivers, Phillip Hepp, won first place and advanced to state. This year, the transportation department will be taking five bus drivers to the Region 11 competition, including Hepp.

The Bus Road-eo competition will begin with a general knowledge and vehicle inspection written test which challenges comprehension of the school bus driver certifications and commercial driving laws and regulations.
