The Lady Hornets soccer team continued its push near the top of the district standings with a convincing 3-0 victory over Fossil Ridge Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Hornet Stadium.

Sitting in second place, Azle improved to 5-1-2 in district play, remaining on the heels of perennial power Aledo.

The Ladies opened the scoring when Kim Licerio found the net off an assist from Katie Trammell. Freshman Addison Horner followed with a goal of her own, set up by Savana Swint, to extend the lead.
