Hogye Hogle is originally from Electra but moved to Azle 43 years ago after he took a branch manager position at Olney Savings — a bank that used to be located where Herring Bank is now. He graduated from Electra High School in 1968 and graduated from West Texas State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He opened his own business, Hogle Insurance Group, in 1984.
“I've been here raising my family for 43 years and that really made it feel like home for me,” Hogle said.
