After more than five years of construction, the Lake Worth bridge project is picking up momentum, with drivers expected to shift onto the new main lanes as soon as this week.

Brady Wright, project manager at SEMA Construction, Inc., spoke at the Rotary Club of Azle meeting Feb. 26, to give community members an insight into bridge construction and an update on the long-awaited Lake Worth bridge project.

“I know this job’s been going on for far too long, or that’s what most people think,” Wright said. “Before we can flip you guys up on that main lane, there's not a lot left (to do).”
