The Azle Lady Hornet powerlifting team turned in an impressive performance Tuesday, March 3 at the regional meet at Sherman High School, earning the silver medal and collecting multiple individual medals and personal records.
Azle brought home three regional champions and qualified nine lifters for the state powerlifting championships.
Regional champions for the Lady Hornets are sophomore Bella Robles and seniors Dakota Donaldson and Kasey Puente.
