The Azle Lady Hornet softball team cracked some bats Tuesday, March 3, defeating Chisholm Trail 11-1 at Jim Bob Nation’s Field of Dreams on Umpire Appreciation Night.
Leading the offensive charge was Adalyn Kripner, who collected four hits in four at-bats in a perfect night at the plate.
Kripner also drove in two runs, matching teammates Ryleigh Meyers, Brianna Zalesky and Lilianna Johnson, who each finished with two RBIs. Jimena Espinosa led the Lady Hornets with three RBIs.
