The Azle Hornets wrapped up their 2026 boys soccer season Friday night, March 13, falling to Aledo 5-1 in their final home game of the year.

Azle battled early and kept the match competitive in the first half. The Hornets’ lone goal came from Miguel Maldonado, who found the net off an assist from River Allen. Despite the effort, Azle went into halftime trailing 2-1.

Aledo pulled away in the second half to secure the win, but Azle head coach John Epps said he was proud of the fight his players showed throughout the season.
