If any organization knows how to host an “eggciting” Easter egg hunt, it’s the Azle Police Officer’s Association.

After last year’s inaugural Easter event got rained out, members decided to “crack” into something even bigger for 2026 — bringing the newly dubbed Azle Easter Eggstravaganza back to Ash Creek Park Saturday, April 4, for multiple hours of “eggstra” fun.

While the entire event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the egg hunt itself won’t start until 11 a.m. — a change that Azle POA President Sgt. Thomas Gilbert said was made intentionally due to last year’s blink-and-you-miss-it egg hunt that was over almost as soon as it began.
