Crusaders outslugged in district clash at home
ACS senior Preston Dixon got the start on the mound against Bethesda Christian.

The Azle Christian Fighting Crusaders dropped a high-scoring district contest Tuesday, March 17, falling 17-7 to Bethesda Christian at the Lions Club baseball fields.

ACS, which plays its home games in Springtown, moved to 6-4 overall and 2-3 in TAPPS Division 5 District 2 play with the loss.

Senior Preston Dixon got the start on the mound for the Fighting Crusaders. Offensively, Dixon also contributed at the plate, going 2 for 4 with a single, a triple and three RBIs.
