I have heard many wedding messages over the years, and a familiar line is often stated: “In Christian marriage, one plus one equals one.” It is a meaningful statement, and it reflects a biblical truth.
This past weekend, I had the privilege of officiating a wedding, and my wife, Daniele, was there with me.
As I prepared for the brief wedding message, I chose to stay with the math theme while expanding it a bit into what I call “Marriage in 3-D.” The goal was to present a more complete picture of what strong marital relationships can look like over time, seeing marriage not just in one dimension, but with greater depth and perspective.
