The Azle High School baseball team received statewide recognition this week, being named a recipient of the 2026 Grant Teaff Beyond the Game Team Award.
Azle was selected as one of 20 Texas high school teams to receive a $1,000 grant through the program. The award is presented annually by the Grant Teaff Foundation and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, with support from the Texas High School Coaches Association, the Texas High School Athletic Directors Association and Dave Campbell’s Texas Sports.
The award honors Texas high school teams that exemplify outstanding service to their communities beyond athletics.
