Azle Independent School District is right on track with its compensation plan, measuring close to market averages for both staff and teachers — but officials are now considering raises in order to stay competitive.
Lauren Wurman, human resources and compensation consultant for Texas Association of School Boards, presented a compensation report during the AISD board of trustees meeting March 23. The report, she said, allows TASB to gather market data through common jobs at other school districts to see if AISD needs to adjust any of its pay structures to realign with the market.
