Lions Club hosts blood drive April 3
The Azle Lions Club will host a blood drive in the One Azle Building, 412 Commerce St., Friday, April 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

‘Hop’ to Eagle Crest for egg hunt April 3
Eagle Crest Villa will host an “egg-citing” Easter celebration event from 3-4 p.m. Friday, April 3, at 113 Denver Trail.
Activities include a resident’s bonnet parade at 3 p.m., followed by the children’s prize egg hunt at 3:30 p.m.

Azle Farmers Market opens April 4
Opening day for the Azle Farmers Market is fast approaching, with the season officially kicking off Saturday, April 4, from 8 a.m. to noon at 225 Church St.
As a special treat for the day, The Lettuce Shack will also host its grand opening celebration beginning at 10 a.m.
Offering a marketplace with fresh produce, artisan vendors, doers and dreamers, the Azle Farmers Market will be open on the first and third Saturdays every month following opening day.
Easter Eggstravaganza arrives April 4
The Azle Police Association will team up with the Azle Senior Activity Center to bring you their Azle Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday, April 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Held at the senior center, 601 Southeast Parkway, the duo will host music, dancing, photos with the Easter Bunny, an egg drop and hunt, plus food trucks serving breakfast and lunch.
Bring your baskets and best energy for this egg-cellent event you won’t want to miss.
Azle Manor Blood Drive set April 9
Azle Manor Healthcare & Rehabilitation will partner with Carter BloodCare to host a community blood drive Thursday, April 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A Carter BloodCare bus will be on site at 721 Dunaway Lane, with walk-ins welcomed.

Servolution Network’s Good Neighbors Spring Blitz will return Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11.

Free EliteOrtho workshop set April 11
As part of its one-year anniversary, EliteOrtho Bodywork will offer a free full body assessment and stretch workshop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at 328 W. Main St.
Splitting up into three pain categories, the workshop will include: athletes/sports injury prevention from noon to 2 p.m.; desk jobs, drivers and sedimentary pain relief from noon to 2 p.m.; and stress relief and pain from holding emotional tension from 2-4 p.m.
Azle Clean Up Day set for April 18
It’s that time of year again! Azle’s annual Clean Up Day is set from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, and the city is currently looking for volunteers to join.
Participants will meet at Azle City Hall, 505 W. Main St., to pick up supplies. Cleanup areas will be assigned according to the number of volunteers in each group. Participation will be recorded and included in the city’s Keep Azle Beautiful statistics.
Donkey Basketball returns April 23
A fun-filled night of Donkey Basketball returns to the Azle High School Fine Arts Gym Thursday, April 23, at 7 p.m.
Featuring 90 minutes of entertainment among three games, Azle Independent School District staff will be playing basketball with real donkeys. All proceeds will benefit Azle High School Project Graduation 2026.

Azle will launch its annual Music in the Park with Azle High School’s Jazz Band Friday, April 24, from 8-10 p.m.
As the pre-kickoff event to the concert series, students will showcase selections of classic jazz, helping set the stage for an exciting season of live music in the park.

Chamber hosts golf tournament May 15
The Azle Area Chamber of Commerce will take a swing at its 21st annual golf tournament Friday, May 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Cross Timbers Golf Course, 1181 S. Stewart St.
Team registration for chamber members is $500 and $550 for nonchamber members. The deadline to register is Friday, May 1.
Main Street FAM Festival May 30
MASTERpiece Paint Party & ART Studio is hosting its FAM (Faith + Art + Music) Festival Saturday, May 30, from noon-4 p.m. at shops on Main Street.
The studio is in search of artwork under the theme of “Hope” to be displayed and auctioned at the event, as well as singers and bands to participate.
All the proceeds will be supporting two nonprofits in the community, including the Future, Hope & Healing Center and P. R.A.I.S.E Worship, so come out and have a great time while supporting a good cause.
