Nothing says “community” like neighbors coming together to clean up their city — and that’s exactly what Azle’s Cleanup Day aims to accomplish.

As part of Azle’s Keep Texas Beautiful efforts, Mayor Randa Goode and the Azle Beautification Committee invite both individual volunteers and volunteer groups to meet at Azle City Hall, located at 505 W. Main St., at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 18, to join in the cleanup initiative.

From 8-11 a.m., volunteers of all ages — and those who wish to keep Azle beautiful — will be tasked with picking up trash along heavily littered areas during the city’s biggest community-wide clean up event.
