Chelsea Paden has officially traded in her lesson plans for leadership plans, as the former instructional coach at Santo J. Forte Junior High School is now settling into her new position as seventh-grade assistant principal on campus.

With former seventh-grade assistant principal Annie Pinion accepting her new role as principal of Silver Creek Elementary School, Paden has been working hard since December to prepare for her own new chapter.

“My first day was Monday, (March 23), so I’ve been learning,” Paden told The Azle News. “It’s been really great to be able to really learn alongside her (Pinion) and just kind of prepare myself mentally, because it’s definitely a different world. There’s a lot more that goes into it; there’s more time, work and processes.”
