A Parker County grand jury met March 26 in Weatherford to consider evidence in criminal cases presented by the Parker County District Attorney’s office.
The grand jury handed down indictments against eight Springtown residents, two Poolville residents, one Weatherford resident, an Azle resident and a Lakeside resident, among others.
- Janet Ann Byas, 51, of Springtown, was indicted on a charge of injury to a child, elderly or disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury. The charge is a felony in the third degree.
- Daniel John Gordon, 33, of Springtown, was indicted on a charge of criminal mischief more than $2,500 but less than $30,000. The charge is a state jail felony.
- Venesha Petersen, 44, of Springtown, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 or 1B, more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams. The charge is a third-degree felony.
- Eric Gerardo Rosales, 44, of Azle, was indicted on a charge of theft of property, $2,500 or more, with two or more previous convictions. The charge is a state jail felony.
- Feliciano Munoz Amaya, 50, of Springtown, was indicted on a charge of possession of a control substance in penalty group 1, less than 1 gram. The charge is a state jail felony.
- Timothy Bradley Bernhardt, 59, of Poolville, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The charge is a felony in the second degree.
- Jarrod Wayne Earp, 58, of Weatherford, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The charge is a second-degree felony.
- Gayla Lynn Gibson, 52, of Springtown, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with the intent to impair. The charge is a felony in the third degree.
- Ashley Nicole Johnson, 36, of Springtown, was indicted on a charge of prohibited substance or item in a correctional facility. The charge is a third-degree felony.
- Cody Don Oats, 40, of Lakeside, was indicted on a charge of violating bond or a protective order for assault or stalking, as well as a separate charge of violating bond or a protective order two times within 12 months. Both charges are third-degree felonies.
- Justin Lane Patterson, 20, of Poolville, was indicted on a charge of delivery of marijuana less than 5 pounds but more than one -quarter ounce. The charge is a state jail felony.
