At 90 years old, many grandmothers and great-grandmothers would prefer to slow down and read a nice book — but Georgia Lamont would rather write one.

The Legacy Oaks of Azle resident recently published not just one but two books about her life with her late husband, Jim, and their years of missionary work in Honduras.

“The first book, ‘Our Remarkable Journey,’ is about my husband’s childhood, how we met and that sort of thing,” Lamont told The Azle News. “The next book, ‘Our Remarkable Mission,’ is about my life and how God led us to go on our mission trip.”
