My favorite class is probably culinary.

What advice would you give to younger athletes?

My advice is perseverance. Working through adversity leads to success.

What other sports do you play?

I run track and cross country.

Yes, coach Jones. She’s awesome.

What has sports taught you about life?

Sometimes it's not about the destination — sometimes it's the journey.

I got to go with Michael Jordan.

Oh, our last regional race in 2025.

What is one pregame ritual or superstition?

I have to eat blueberry oatmeal always, always!

What is life after high school going to look like?

I am attending Weatherford College in the fall. I want to get an associate degree in culinary arts.
